Nigel Anderson

A veteran in the IT space,Nigel has spent nearly four decades working with companies like IBM, Microsoft, Anaplan, Board and Informatica to create actionable roadmaps for businesses. As Vicit’s trusted advisor, Nigel is instrumental in our business development outreach and channels his expertise into scaling companies for our clients.

Nigel’s career spans several decades in analytics, financial and operational planning, data management and business transformation across manufacturing, finance, education and tech. His vast experience is bolstered by a range of qualifications - he graduated from the University of Lancashire and racked up an impressive number of sales and technical certifications from leading software vendors throughout his career.

Before joining us in 2024, Nigel worked with our founder Nick Patrick for 10 years at Sempre. That partnership was such a success that it was destined to continue at Vicit, where Nigel gets to put his expertise toward scaling businesses while continuing the professional relationships he’s built throughout his career. After 35 years in the industry, it’s safe to say that Nigel knows where the potholes are and how to help founders avoid them.

Nigel’s philosophy is to treat others as you’d like to be treated, because what goes around comes around. He generously dedicates his time and energy to causes he cares about, like volunteering at animal rescue charities and mentoring people overcoming claustrophobia.

When he’s not scaling businesses into the stratosphere, Nigel is off mountain biking, trekking through the countryside with his family and two dogs or helping his sons renovate their homes. He still holds a UK HGV license—a relic from his days as a truck driver before launching his tech career.
